Meet The Maker

Chris Wright: From Detective to Professional Knife Maker/Knife Making Instructor.

Once a detective, I found knife making as a way to escape the stresses of the job. What began as a personal passion soon evolved into a craft of the highest standard, so much so that my knives are now in the hands of top chefs and discerning home cooks around the world.

Taking the leap - I left law enforcement behind to pursue knife making full-time, and from that, Teddy’s Experience Days was born. There is nothing I enjoy more than sharing my knowledge, teaching students the art of blade making, and meeting incredible people along the way. Every student brings something unique to the table, making the journey even more rewarding.

Availability of my knives

When one of my handcrafted creations becomes available for purchase, it will be listed on the 'Available' page of this website and showcased on my Instagram. Following my Instagram will also offer an exclusive glimpse into the artistry and precision of my daily work.

Act quickly if something catches your eye—my knives are rarely released for general sale, making each piece a truly limited opportunity.

Returns policy

Commission/bespoke knives:

Returns not accepted on commission/bespoke products. Changes to agreed design and/or materials by client may incur additional costs.

All other knives:

If you are not 100% happy with your knife please contact me and if the issue cannot be resolved a full refund will be given upon the return of the knife in its original condition.  

A care instructions leaflet is provided with each knife. My knives are not guaranteed against improper use, dishwashing or inappropriate care.

Please read the care instruction leaflet carefully before use.  

Age Restrictions

Knives can be dangerous if used incorrectly or unsafely. I sell knives only to persons verified as being over 18 (this will be checked) and I am not responsible for any harm or injury caused whilst using the knife.

Shipping

• Postage within the UK is included and UPS tracked and insured will be used. Age verification service will be used and upon ordering a knife you will be subject to ID checks.

• Postage outside the UK - a quote will be sought from UPS depending on your location.

Packages may be subject to import duties and taxes. You, as the customer are responsible for paying those fees. We recommend that you check with your local customs office before placing an order as these fees can sometimes be significant.
